016 Extension

A first generation eco house, this house was originally built in 1994 with the environment in mind. The clients’ new requirements resulted in the construction of a similarly oak clad, two-storey extension and the creation of a new kitchen and living room on the top floor and an additional bedroom, study and utility room on the ground floor. Changing the layout in this way improved the flow and function of the house as well as taking advantage of the views from the top floor of the house. Refurbishing the rest of the property included a new family bathroom and en-suite wet room as well as re-decoration throughout. Marrying design with an eco approach has created an interesting and beautiful home with a cosy feel and ample space for family living.
