Interior Design Coordinator

Moon is a modern, progressive design and build company, which genuinely blends architecture and construction into a unique service for domestic clients in Bristol and the South West. Our continual growth over the last five years has reinforced our position, and we have already filled our order book this year.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented interior designer to strengthen our design team. This new role will include:

  • 1. Coordinating and managing the interior design aspect of each project.
  • 2. Designing kitchens, bathrooms fitted furniture and lighting using CAD & 3-D modeling.
  • 3. Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements & aspirations.
  • 4. Working with the clients in making choices of finishes products for kitchens and bathrooms.
  • 5. Sourcing new products & suppliers to enhance the product range we offer.

The role will initially be 3 days a week with the potential for it to increase to full time as we expand further.

The person will require strong design skills and most importantly have good taste. Another key skill required is the ability to make sure clients are making decisions in a timely manner. This is a critical component as late decisions have huge implications on the project programme; shrinking violets need not apply.

As a young company, the role is flexible, and we are keen to make the best of the talent which all our staff posses. Salary is negotiable based upon experience, and will be on contract initially, with a view to becoming permanent after a probationary period.
